The cold winter is easing, and the glow is back at the start of spring. Tokyo is awash with color from the cherry blossoms.
Where the Chuo and Sobu Lines run side by side between Iidabashi and Yotsuya Stations, the walking path at Sotobori Park—about two kilometers long—is the ideal location to view this beautiful sight.

Asukayama, one of the scenes in Hiroshige’s “100 Views of Edo,” has been a popular place for cherry blossom viewing (hanami) since the 18th Century Edo Period.

The Sumidagawa Line is a water transport that follows the Sumida River downstream from the foot of the Azuma-bashi (Azuma Bridge).Cherry trees majestically line the river banks, creating an idyllic scene of Tokyo in the spring.

When walking Sanyabori park, the Tokyo Skytree is seen at the front.
Chidorigafuchi is world reknown as a famous spot for sakura. Take out a boat from the Chidorigafuchi Boat Slip for a perfect view overhead from the water.

There are 65 different types to enjoy among the 1,300 cherry trees that grace Shinjuku Gyoen Park, another famous place for sakura.
